# Transaction execution reverted

> Fired when a transaction execution reverts on-chain.

If a `reference_id` was provided when the transaction was created via
[`eth_sendTransaction`](/api-reference/wallets/ethereum/eth-send-transaction) or [`signAndSendTransaction`](/api-reference/wallets/solana/sign-and-send-transaction),
it is included in the webhook payload for reconciliation.
